There is a lot to see and I think i...Thanks Steve. <br />There is a lot to see and I think it is a collection that deserves several visits to really appreciate, as the overwhelming aspect can easily take effect and you don't really end up absorbing anything. I found doing the posts really useful from my own benefit just to sit down and really understand the significance of what I had seen.<br /><br />I'm not going to say anymore about the abysmal downside of my visit as I prefer to focus on the fantastic items we saw, including some famous marbles and a certain stone that was confiscated from Napoleon. I guess over the yea...Four very interesting posts .<br />I guess over the years I must have spent a good couple of days in total at the British Museum and I find it all becomes a bit of a blur after a while, Towards the end you find yourself moving from bench to bench rather than exhibit to exhibit.<br />I had no problem dropping an old bag off at the entrance, my only complaint was that they made me take her away when I left ( Les Dawson 1973).<br />Mr Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03657702949814996671noreply@blogger.com
